Common Questions
Does a high water bill always mean an underground leak?
No. Changes in normal use, toilets, tanks and other visible problems should be considered before concluding that a buried pipe is leaking.
Does the service include digging and pipe repairs?
Our standard service is leak detection. Digging, repairs and surface reinstatement are not included unless stated in the quotation. Your appointed plumber or contractor normally handles that work.
What is needed before a quotation?
Start with the location, property type and the problem you have noticed. Engineering information can be added when it is available.
Can you guarantee that you will find the leak?
We cannot guarantee that every leak can be found. Results depend on the pipe, water pressure, depth, access, pipe-route information and background noise. We explain any uncertainty in our findings.
